Singapore Convention Week 2026 – Let’s talk about Vietnam: Arbitration Reform, the VIFC and the Construction Law 2025

As part of Singapore Convention Week 2026 (SCW 2026), the Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC), YKVN Singapore and Society of Construction Law – Vietnam (SCLVN) will host the event “Let’s talk about Vietnam: Arbitration Reform, the VIFC and the Construction Law 2025” on 27 August 2026 in Singapore.

[Training Course] Dispute Resolution Skills Through Commercial Mediation – December 2024

In the context of continuous socio-economic development, increasingly more types of diverse and complex disputes arise. Thus, a dispute resolution mechanism is imperative to ensuring public order and security. There are various different methods of dispute resolution, the most popular of which are negotiation, mediation, arbitration, and administrative or judicial resolution via the Court. However, the business community today tends to look for an alternative dispute resolution method that is both time and cost-effective and preserves business cooperation relations among parties. Commercial mediation method is currently favored by businesses, corporations and corporations because of its friendliness, flexibility and legally supported enforcement.In order to provide lawyers and businesses with comprehensive and systematic information about commercial mediation along with domestic and international practices in this field, the Vietnam Mediation Center (VMC), a division of the Vietnam International Arbitration Center (VIAC), organizes a basic training course in 2024.

Vietnam ADRs Week (VAW) is the one and only series of events  in Vietnam which is initiated by Vietnam International Arbitration Center (VIAC). The first-ever VAW hosted by VIAC in 2020 grew into a significant series of activities that connected domestic and international arbitration practitioners and served as a forum for ADR experts to express their views for the improvement of the quality of arbitration. The Week so continues to be organized with the goal of contributing to enhance the competitiveness of the economy and business community, and facilitate the economic, trade, investment, scientific and technological cooperation between domestic and foreign entities in Vietnam.
